Museum of Contemporary Art in Isfahan with

Emphasis on Environmental Adaptation

Master of Architecture,

Shiraz university” State” 2015-2017

This project has two parts of report and design. This is the design part:

After analyzing three sites using Analytic Hierarchy Process (A.H.P), to find the best choice for the design project, the site by the river in Isfahan, Iran was chosen.

I was inspired by this river which has several man-made streams (called Maadi) that flow water to all the city like blood vessels. These streams which have been made 500 years ago are vital to the life of numerous historical gardens in Isfahan.

My concept was to follow the river and its streams as a life-giving part of the city. Therefore, I created the main structure of my project like a river, and along the river and I designed galleries like the river’s streams. My main goal was to ensure that trees and plants on the site are kept safe.
